Indoor Playgrounds – Singapore for Kids

Indoor playgrounds are the perfect places for kids to run around, jump, swing, climb and burn off some excess energy. These play areas are great for children to develop gross motor skills and learn to play well with others. So check out this selection of four great indoor playgrounds to take the kiddos on a rainy or burning hot day: The Polliwogs, Amazonia, Go-go Bambini and Kidz Amaze. *Don’t forget to bring socks, because they are compulsory for everyone entering the play areas.

The Polliwogs

Focused on active play, children can spend hours at The Polliwogs playgrounds climbing, running, sliding, swinging, tunneling and shooting in foam wrapped play structures, while parents can relax in the cafes next to the play arenas. Given its setup, parents can see their child inside the playground without having to crawl in. There are two The Polliwogs branches in Singapore: one at Suntec City and the other at VivoCity. And both have separate play areas for toddlers with smaller structures that are easier for them to manage. The Polliwogs at Suntec City is equipped with multi-storey play structures, ball pools, obstacle courses, crawling tubes and nets, fun slides, a shooting area and a new laser zone. Its toddler’s play area features toddler-sized tunnels, water trampoline, lighted slides and a bouncy castle. The active play area for older children at VivoCity features a rock climbing wall, giant slides, mazes with obstacle courses and a softball cannon shootout arena. While the fun options for toddlers are a mini-carousel, a ball pool and tiny spinning cups.
