Want your kids to go outside and have some fun? There are plenty of outdoor play areas that can be found throughout Singapore. They are great places to burn off all the excess energy of your children. Here are two free outdoor playgrounds that really stand out.
Children’s Garden – Gardens by the Bay
The 1-hectare Children’s Garden playground at Gardens By The Bay has everything a child could want to play with. It spreads over 5 play areas designed for different age groups: Adventure Trail, Rainforest Tree Houses, Toddler’s Play Zone and Water Play Areas, all integrated with nature. There are obstacles and bridges to cross, tree houses to climb, bars to swing and a variety of slides. Kids will enjoy hours of active play fun! And to ensure your children’s safety, there’s even staff from Gardens by the Bay stationed at various points of the park. Besides the dry play areas, the water play zone features the Fish Fountain for toddlers and the Water Play Area complete with water splines, a hydro vault, and orchid-shaped splash buckets to keep the older children busy. It is a great way for the kids to cool down after all the jumping and climbing. There are plenty of bathrooms, lockers and changing rooms in this area.
