Conveniently referred to as Pagsanjan Falls, since the boat ride going to the big falls begins at the municipality of Pagsanjan, the Magdapio Falls, one of the most famous waterfalls in the Philippines, is a 91 meter (300 ft.) waterfall located in the town of Cavinti, Laguna.
The canoe ride to Pagsanjan Falls is about 1 hour upstream, shooting 16 rapids and passing through gorges over a hundred feet high. The highlight of this waterfall is the bamboo raft (or balsa) ride, which goes directly under and behind the falls, where there is a huge cave called Devil’s Cave.
