Located near the city of Cafayate, Argentina, the Colorado River features spectacular waterfalls amidst a rocky framework painted with lush green vegetation along its route. One waterfall that stands out is the Cascada del Rio Colorado (Spanish for Colorado River Waterfall) which falls from nearly 8 meters (26 ft.) between two big rocks that seem to be suspended in the air. For those who wish to remain in this area of scenic beauty , there is a camping site in the area of El Divisadero, near the first waterfall.
