The Staubbach Falls is a waterfall located just above of the municipality of Luterbrunnen, in the Lauterbrunnen Valley, Switzerland. The waterfall drops 297 meters (1000 ft), of which almost all of it is in free-fall, from the verge of rocky cliffs and then reaches the level of the U-shaped valley.
After rain and in the summer, when fed by the melting snows, the Staubbach Falls is a very easy spot object as you approach the Lauterbrunnen town. What makes this waterfall so incredible is its position. It seems like its falling right above the town. What a wonderful yard for those who lives in Lauterbrunnen. The valley as well as the Swiss Alps is in the background complements the landscape.
