In Chapada Diamantina, Brazil, is hidden amid huge rock walls, the amazing Cachoeira da Fumacinha (in English, Fumacinha Falls – Little Smoke Falls). The drop of about 100 meters (330ft.) intrigues its visitors. The view is surreal: canyons 250-meter (820 ft.) high full of mosses join together at the top, resembling a cathedral, from where come the waters of the falls, dropping in a huge natural pool. Located in the town of Ibicoara, Chapada Diamantina, Bahia, it takes 4 hours of hard trekking to get to the waterfall, the reason few visitors manage to get there, but once you’re there, you’ll understand why it’s worth all the effort.
